1. Dates:

• Event Start: October 5, 2024, at 9:00 AM
• Event End: October 6, 2024, at 5:00 PM
• Submission Deadline: October 6, 2024, at 9:00 AM
• Winner Announcement: October 6, 2024, at 3:00 PM

2. Eligibility:

• Participants: Open to students of all backgrounds and skill levels.
• Age Requirement: Participants must be at least high school age.
• Team Size: Teams can consist of 1-4 members.
• Location: Participants must be present at Southern Methodist University during the hackathon.
• Residency: No residency restrictions.

3. Submission Requirements:

• Project: Create a functional software or hardware prototype.
• Documentation: Provide a project description, including the problem being solved, the solution, and technologies used.
• Code: Submit the source code via GitHub or similar platform.
• Optional: Additional materials such as diagrams, slides, and supplementary documents for your presentation.

  • Technology: Technical complexity and innovation.
  • Presentation: Clarity and effectiveness of the presentation.

• Winner Selection:

  • A panel of judges will evaluate the submissions based on the criteria above.
  • Winners will be announced at the closing ceremony on October 6, 2024, at 3:00 PM.
